Booleroo View B&B was born out of a drought. We needed something positive to do and remain active
We have been cereal and sheep farmers in the district since 1882, and while we still own that particular parcel of land, it is now leased out to local farmers. All the other properties we own are leased out too with the exception of 60 ha where we run a small sheep flock currently concentrating on breeding SAMM /Merino cross lambs for the meat market. The wool on these guys is also very good and it eliminates the need for mulesing.
Right now we are enjoying what we are doing, not having to think about large machinery and the costs of ownership, the price of cereal farming and since stepping back from it have learned to enjoy practicing retirement.
